This corvette has had a lot of money spent on new parts including GM crate motor, screw-in stud heads with guide plates, Holley carb, high rise aluminum intake, water pump, headers, 2 1/2" dual exhaust, Vortec mufflers, master cylinder, front and rear calipers, brake rotors, front wheel bearings, complete brake line kit, proportioning valve, B & M transmission converter, transmission cooler, belts, hoses, MSD distributor cap, MSD plug wires, upper and lower control arm bushings, four new tie rod ends, lower ball joints, power steering control valve, four shocks, alternator, trailing arm bushings, strut rod bushings, U joints, radiator, complete weatherstrip kit, and much more replaced.
In 1979 GM produced 54,000 corvettes. Out of those GM only released 14,516 with the L-82 engine, 12,300 with Gymkhana suspension, and 10,000 in black.
